An overview of the R&W Expo 2020
The R&W Expo 2020 was held successfully during October 28-30 with “seizing new opportunities and embracing a new future” as the theme. Despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the associated international travel restrictions, R&W 2020 is receiving very high praise from all aspects within the industry.
The expo covered an area of 25,000 square meters, and 263 exhibitors from 13 countries have presented more than 800 latest waterproof products and systems, covering the whole waterproof industry chain. In the meantime, there were 24 concurrent events. During this expo, we provide not only the online cloud exhibition, but also the online video broadcasting service.
The total number of visitors reached a record high compared with last year, with 30,000 visits and the exhibitors' satisfaction reached 99% according to the survey.

Professional waterproofing contractors and general contractors are accounting for 31.3%, Distributors and wholesalers 15.2%, Architectural design institutes, other scientific research institutes 11.9%, Manufactures 11.4%, Real estate developers and owners 8.8%, Decoration companies 5.60%, Raw material suppliers 3.80%, Media, government agencies and associations 3.40%, Equipment suppliers 1.70%, Others 6.90%.
Concurrent Events of R&W Expo 2020
Distinguished guests, including government officials, delegates from the USA, Germany and Italy embassies and trade agencies, renowned enterprises leaders, the media all presented and witnesses the grand opening ceremony. During the Expo, 24 concurrent events were held, such as the Commendation Ceremony of Anti COVID-19 for the Waterproofing Industry of China, Seminar for Registered Architects, Technology Forum on Renovation of Old Residential Compounds etc.
Highlights of R&W 2020
R&W Expo 2020 was the first and largest offline event in China's waterproofing industry this year, and it showed the strategic victory achieved by the pandemics prevention and control and the resumption of work and production in the waterproofing industry, which would boost the morale and confidence of the whole industry.
As the host, CWA has been committed to creating the R&W Expo into a platform of information exchange, technical services, business and trade, as well as a platform connecting the whole industrial chain. Through the exhibition, we hope to provide solutions beyond architecture, taking more care about human health and comfort while protecting nature and the environment.
